Dear Partners and Supporters,
We are delighted to share an impactful update on a recent initiative funded by the World Forum for Sri Lankan Muslims (WFSLM) — a vocational training project delivered in partnership with the Kinniya Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT).
Thanks to your generous support, 15 unemployed youth from Kinniya, Trincomalee District were awarded scholarships to complete a comprehensive Air Conditioning and Refrigeration course. This training has not only equipped them with valuable technical skills but has also given them the confidence and opportunity to pursue meaningful livelihoods.
All students have successfully completed the program and are now eligible to pursue employment in the technical services sector or start their own ventures.
This initiative reflects the true impact of our collective effort: enabling self-reliance, building confidence, and creating sustainable change — one student, one family, and one community at a time.
We thank you for your ongoing commitment to WFSLM’s mission and invite you to continue supporting initiatives that change lives through education and empowerment.
Warm regards,
Secretary General,
WFSLM
